The club had numerous top 10 results most notably with Max Dreher topping the beep test results achieving level 16.2. Fellow Top Ager Alex Federico also finished in the top 10 achieving Level 15.5.
“The day was run extremely smoothly by AFL Victoria. Across the board, the boys have had an outstanding pre-season. I wasn’t too focused on winning the beep test, I just wanted to run to the best of my ability. It’s certainly a fantastic reward for effort to record the best time given there are so many incredible athletes across the competition.” Dreher said.
Jack Petruccelle also showcased his elite speed topping the 20 metre sprint time with a 2.820, with teammates Ethan Penrith and Nicholas Coffield both also finishing in the Top 10 for the 20 metre sprint with 2.891 and 2.892 respectively. Petruccelle also finished 6th in the Vertical Jump test, scoring 76 on the test.
For the TAC Cup Girls, Maddy Guerin was one of the most athletic prospects on the day. Guerin finished first for the Girls in both the standing and running vertical jump categories, ninth in the beep test as well as second in the 20m sprint with a time of 3.211.
“Great to see Petch, Fedda, Eth, Coff and Maddy also put forward some fantastic results“.
