The 2019 U18 Vic Metro squad of 50 has been finalised with 8 Knights selected to play.
Adam Carafa, Ben Major, Lachlan Potter, Ryan Gardner and Ryan Sturgess were selected in the original squad of 30 which was released last November.
Additionally, Knights Captain Jackson Davies, reigning best and fairest winner Joshua D’Intinosante and bottom age player Nikolas Cox have been added to the squad of 50 based on form this year.
Knights talent manager Rhy Gieschen expressed his excitement for the boys selected in the team, in particular the three recently added into the squad.
“We are extremely pleased for the three boys who have been added to the squad based on their early season form which is a credit to their tireless work over the pre-season”

Vic Metro will play against Vic Country this Saturday in two games (10:30am and 12:30pm) at IKON Park. Both teams have 50 players each who have been selected from the NAB League Competition.
“It is a huge day with 100 of the most talented 17 and 18 year olds in Victoria all going head to head”
Gieschen has spoken out about what is expected from the boys this weekend and how they should feel about the chance they have been given to represent themselves and the Knights.
